Sales Support Operation and Production

Sign Print Stitch is a highly regarded and established Sign, Embroidery and Print manufacturer located in Gunnedah, Narrabri and Inverell NSW. We are expanding our operation and production management team to support our growing staff and sites. We are seeking qualified operations and manufacturing person with skills in the sign, print or graphics industry.

We are looking for a bright and motivated person to join our dedicated team.  The position is a new position as consistent growth and new Sign Print Stitch sites has necessitated the scaled growth – it is a permanent position.

Previous sign, or print or embroidery industry knowledge will be highly regarded. It is essential that knowledge in people management, and management of manufacturing will be an distinct advantage. We need a skilled person in working with creative people and making choices about the ‘right project for the right person’ and have some understanding of operations, production sign and print processes in a timely manner as a part of the role

  • Having a smile on your face and client focused 
  • Working with our existing and new staff and scheduling operations and production.
  • Maintaining and building relationship with new and existing customers
  • Customer database maintenance, update to an appropriate standard as set.
  • Ensure order processing complete job orders are accurately and professionally manufactured in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all staff and contractors are directed appropriately as per manufacturing departments and provide best services and solutions to ensure customer goods are manufactured to the designed requirements
  • Performing the duties within our Job Description – available at interview 
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements to productivity and controls 
  • Have a burning desire to do things properly and in a timely manner! Our business is a wholesale supplier and we have a very busy work place

 Following skill and experiences are required for the successful applicant:

  • 3 years of service or sales experience in a B2B environment
  • An understanding of Database software, design software and administration software typical available in the sign or print industry an advantage.
  • Telephone skill and a desire to focus on client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with signage and printing industries is a definite advantage
  • People friendly and solution focused approach is a prerequisite 
  • Ambition - a drive to exceed expectations
  • General business computing skills
  • Excellent time management and able to meet deadline under pressure
  • Ability to work within a friendly team environment and autonomously as well
