Epson launches WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000

Setting a new benchmark for high-volume business inkjet printing

Epson has launched the WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000 in Australia and New Zealand, the new flagship addition to its business inkjet portfolio, bringing a powerful new option to organisations that need to print at scale without accepting the high energy use, maintenance demands and operational complexity traditionally associated with high-speed office printing.

Purpose-built for demanding, high-volume print environments, the WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000 has been designed for a new generation of workplaces that want more than raw print speed from their devices.

Organisations today are under pressure to do more with less, improve productivity, reduce costs, simplify IT management and meet increasingly visible sustainability targets. The AM-C10000 has been introduced to help them do exactly that.

With print speeds of up to 100 ISO pages per minute, duplex scanning at up to 120 images per minute and a first page-out time of approximately 4.7 seconds, the AM-C10000 helps organisations keep critical document workflows moving quickly and consistently. It’s ideal for government departments, educational institutions, healthcare providers, large enterprises and copy shops that require high-volume, cost-effective document production.

As organisations continue to modernise workplaces and reassess legacy print infrastructure, Epson is bringing to market a device that directly addresses the needs of high-volume environments while reinforcing the growing case for business inkjet as the smarter alternative to traditional, power-hungry laser.

Craig Heckenberg, Managing Director of Epson Australia, said the launch of the AM-C10000 reflects a growing demand for high-volume print solutions that can improve both operational and energy efficiency.

He explained, "energy consumption is becoming a key consideration for organisations operating multiple devices or investing in higher-speed equipment, where power requirements increase significantly. The WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000 delivers production-class performance while using substantially less energy than comparable laser technologies. We know from our business customers who have made the switch to inkjet that they see energy consumption reduced by up to 90% versus comparable laser devices, which helps them reduce operating costs and support sustainability goals without compromising productivity. For print service providers, these devices also offer a practical way to improve fleet efficiency and reduce heat generation by shifting everyday print volumes to a lower-energy platform."

At the heart of the AM-C10000 is Epson's Heat-Free printing technology, a point of difference that continues to reshape expectations around office print performance. Unlike conventional laser devices, which use heat in the printing process and require more energy, more moving parts and more maintenance intervention, Epson's Heat-Free approach eliminates the need for heat during printing. That means the device can begin printing immediately from sleep mode while using less power and requiring fewer consumable replacements and service interventions over time.

The value of that difference is practical and measurable. Lower energy use helps reduce operating costs. Fewer replaceable parts help minimise downtime and maintenance overheads. Faster recovery from sleep mode supports productivity in busy work environments where delays quickly add up. High-yield ink supplies and high-capacity paper handling help reduce the frequency of manual intervention, allowing internal teams to stay focused on higher-value tasks.

This is one of the core reasons business inkjet solutions are increasingly being adopted around the world. Organisations are no longer judging print devices solely on headline speed or purchase price. They are looking at whole-of-life value, including energy consumption, uptime, service demands, workflow efficiency, sustainability impact and ease of deployment across mixed fleets.

The AM-C10000 is not simply a fast multifunction device. It is a workflow-enabled platform built to integrate into central print rooms, corporate reprographics departments and managed print environments.  It delivers outstanding reliability, advanced security, consistent image quality and the flexibility to produce professional documents in-house. It supports secure print release, user authentication, auditability and seamless integration with enterprise workflows. Optional finishing capabilities including stapling, hole punching and booklet production help organisations reduce costs, improve productivity and maintain greater control over document production and sensitive information.

The user experience has also been designed with enterprise consistency in mind. The AM-C10000 shares a common interface across Epson's broader AM Series and features a large 10.1-inch touchscreen, making it easier for organisations to train users, standardise workflows and manage mixed A3 and A4 fleets.

With the launch of the WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000, Epson is making a clear statement about where high-volume office printing is heading next. This is not just the arrival of a new flagship product. It is the arrival of a print solution designed for a business environment where efficiency, sustainability, reliability and workflow intelligence are no longer optional extras, but essential requirements.

For organisations seeking to modernise print infrastructure, reduce complexity and extract more value from every part of the workplace technology stack, the WorkForce Enterprise AM-C10000 positions Epson at the centre of the conversation and strengthens the company's leadership in the fast-evolving business inkjet category.
