G2 Systems is pleased to announce the successful installation and commissioning of an EcooGraphix Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system at Steejo Press in Mt Isa, Western Queensland.

Steejo Press required a reliable and straightforward plate-making solution to support its ongoing commercial printing operations. Having worked with G2 Systems for more than 15 years, the company trusted G2 to recommend a system that would provide dependable performance, consistent plate quality and simple day-to-day operation.

The EcooGraphix CTP system was selected as an ideal fit for Steejo Press, combining proven thermal imaging technology with an easy-to-operate platform suited to the demands of a regional printing business. Importantly, Steejo Press was also able to retain its existing Xitron RIP, which G2 Systems upgraded and configured to drive the new CTP system. This allowed the business to maximise the value of its existing prepress investment while moving to a modern plate-making platform.

G2 Systems managed the complete project, including equipment supply, installation, commissioning, Xitron RIP integration and operator training. Ongoing technical support will also be provided by G2 Systems and the manufacturer, ensuring Steejo Press has access to experienced assistance as required.

The installation reflects the long-standing relationship between Steejo Press and G2 Systems and demonstrates G2’s commitment to providing practical, reliable prepress solutions to printing businesses throughout Australia, including regional and remote locations.
