Get Ready to Enter The 2026 ASGA National Sign & Graphics Awards

With entries for the 2026 ASGA National Sign & Graphics Awards opening next week, it’s time for print, sign and graphics businesses around the country to start preparing their entries.

The 2026 event marks the 20th Anniversary of the biennial Awards for Excellence. Supported by Gold Sponsors Avery Dennison, ORAFOL and Spandex, and Bronze Sponsor Currie Group, the competition is expected to attract hundreds of entries from around the country spanning everything from printed banners, soft signage and vehicle wraps, to fabricated, illuminated and digital signage.

Entries will open next Monday 16 February, and close on 24 July. To be eligible, projects must have been completed between 25 July 2024 and 24 July 2026. Judging will be conducted by an expert Judging Panel which will be appointed in the new year.

The full list of categories will be confirmed and published to the ASGA website by the end of this week, but there is a provisional list on the ASGA website to provide guidance, with President Mick Harrold saying there will be ‘something for everyone’.

“Our organising committee has reviewed and revised the Award categories, but no matter what type of products your business produces, there will definitely be a category to suit,” Mick explains.

“If you’re interested in entering, you can start preparing immediately by identifying your best projects, gathering photos of the completed job, and pulling together all the technical specs and details, so that you’re ready to send it in in February.”

As well as the chance to benchmark your best work against the industry’s premier sign and graphics businesses, Mick says entering the Awards is an opportunity to increase your brand and business profile with your customers and key industry connections, and to recognise and celebrate the contribution your team makes to your business success.

“In the past, entrants have also told us that assessing their work for the Awards provided a valuable opportunity to review and evaluate their business goals, standards and achievements, and became a great foundation for setting team goals and agreed performance standards for the business,” he adds.

Award winners will be announced at a glittering presentation dinner, to be held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, on Thursday 3 September.

“We can’t wait to see the work entered this year, and to celebrate at the Gala Awards Dinner, which will once again be a crowning celebration of our sector as industry professionals gather in Sydney from around the country for the 2026 Visual Impact Conference & Expo,” Mick commented.
