Get the Düsseldorf Experience at drupa Review Dinners
Whether you made it to the world’s leading print show in Düsseldorf, or kept the home fires burning back in Australia, you won’t want to miss the chance to review the highlights with your industry colleagues at drupa Review Dinners in Sydney and Melbourne later this month.
Sponsored by Currie Group and HP, and hosted by Visual Connections in partnership with the FPLMA, LIA and Visual Media Association, the dinners will feature an introduction on trends and directions from the Visual Connections team – Sarah Moore in Sydney and Robyn Frampton in Melbourne – and video highlights.
Attendees will also hear from industry professionals who attended the show, including Benn Murphy from Clarke Murphy Print and Pranil Chandra from Next Printing in Sydney, and Heath Nankervis from Southern Impact, Andrew Crump from Peacock, and Tom Eckersley from Eckersley Print Group in Melbourne.
The dinners will also feature the presentation of the NSW and Victorian LIA Graduate of the Year Awards, giving attendees the opportunity to meet some of the industry’s future leaders and recognise their achievements.
As well as the valuable content and celebratory atmosphere, the dinners will give visitors a genuine ‘taste’ of Dusseldorf, with the Sydney event to be held at The Bavarian at World Square, and the Melbourne dinner to take place at Munich Brauhaus at South Wharf.
“Drupa is unquestionably the world’s most important show for print, labels, packaging and much more, and we know that the directions set by vendors will drive trends and technologies for the next four years,” says Sarah Moore, General Manager – Visual Connections.
“We are delighted to be bringing a bit of drupa back to Australia and are looking forward to presenting some of the show highlights, and to the discussions and conversations which will inevitably flow from that, as we look forward to the next chapter for our sector.
“These events will also provide a great chance for industry professionals to encourage the next generation by helping to celebrate with this year’s top graduates, and of course to network with industry friends and colleagues.”
The dinners have been kept to an affordable $99 a head, with drinks available at bar prices, to make sure as many as possible can attend,” Moore adds.
“We know that the environment is challenging at the moment, so we have deliberately made this a ‘not for profit’ event that is designed specifically to pass on knowledge and insights from what is unquestionably the world’s most important show for print, labels, packaging and more.”
Places are limited by venue size, so those who wish to attend should move fast as numbers are already climbing fast. For all the details and to reserve your place, click here.
