HEXIS Host The First PPF World Series Grand Final In Frontignan

HEXIS, a French manufacturer and distributor of adhesive films for visual communication and surface protection, is holding the Grand Final of the first PPF World Series on 23 and 24 September 2026 in Frontignan, France. Created with its BODYFENCE brand, this international paint protection film fitting competition will bring together thirty-six finalists from thirteen countries, competing for the world title and a prize fund of €10,000 for first place, €5,000 for second and €2,500 for third.

Fitting PPF, or paint protection film, is a demanding craft: a clear film must be applied to a car's bodywork without a single bubble, crease or ridge, following every curve of the vehicle. HEXIS created the PPF World Series to give this skill the visibility it deserves, through a circuit of national qualifiers leading to a world final, designed to raise standards across the trade and to give fitters the recognition their work calls for.

Clément MATEU, CEO of HEXIS

“Fitting PPF is a precision job, where everything comes down to the millimetre and where success is measured by what you cannot see. In creating the PPF World Series, we wanted to give these professionals a stage worthy of their skill. Bringing together thirty-six finalists from thirteen countries in Frontignan, where our films are made, is a real source of pride.”

THIRTEEN NATIONS IN COMPETITION

The thirty-six finalists earned their place through qualifying events held in their own countries. They represent thirteen nationalities and make up the most international line-up ever brought together in this field. Over two days, a panel of expert judges will assess them on technical tasks measuring precision, material handling, time management and quality of finish.

A COMPETITION STREAMED LIVE AROUND THE WORLD

The whole of the Grand Final will be streamed live on the HEXIS Graphics YouTube channel, free of charge and with no sign-up needed, from anywhere in the world: https://www.youtube.com/@Hexis-graphics. Professionals, distributors and enthusiasts everywhere will be able to follow the event as it happens.

BODYFENCE, the range of paint protection films developed by the HEXIS R&D laboratory, shields a vehicle's original paintwork from stone chips, scratches, abrasion, insects and UV rays without changing the way it looks. Its self-healing properties allow fine scratches to disappear with heat.
