Konica Minolta Supports First AccurioPress C12010S Installation in The Pacific Region
Pacific print provider BizPrint invests in advanced five-colour digital production technology to expand local print capability and unlock new opportunities across the region.
Konica Minolta Australia has supported the installation of the first AccurioPress C12010S production press in the Pacific region, helping Papua New Guinea print provider BizPrint expand local print capability and bring advanced digital production press technology to businesses across the Pacific.
BizPrint, part of the Remington Group, has invested in the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12010S to increase production capacity, improve automation, and expand the range of applications they can produce locally. The installation marks a significant step forward for the region's print industry, reducing reliance on traditional offset production and enabling greater flexibility for short-run, on-demand and customised print applications.

The AccurioPress C12010S is Konica Minolta's flagship five-colour production press, combining high-speed output, advanced automation, integrated finishing, and white toner capability to help print businesses produce a wider range of applications with greater efficiency and consistency. The platform supports media up to 450gsm and can produce a variety of specialised applications including packaging, labels, marketing collateral, booklets, and creative print effects.
Yohei Konaka, Managing Director, Konica Minolta Australia, said the investment demonstrates the important role technology partnerships play in supporting business growth and capability development throughout the Pacific region.
"We're proud to support BizPrint and the Remington Group as they bring this first-of-its-kind production print capability to the Pacific region.
This investment opens new opportunities for local businesses to access high-quality, creative and efficient print applications, backed by the training, technical expertise and service support needed for long-term success. It's a strong example of partnership delivering practical innovation for customers across the Pacific."
Konica Minolta's, Commercial & Indirect Sales Manager, Andrew Ward travelled to Port Moresby to attend the official launch event and support the installation alongside the BizPrint and Remington teams. The event brought together customers, partners and industry stakeholders to showcase the new production print capability and its potential to support business growth across Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific region.
A key component of the project was investment in skills development and knowledge transfer. Ahead of the installation, two BizPrint technicians travelled to Sydney to undertake a two-week training program at Konica Minolta's training centre. Following delivery of the equipment, Konica Minolta specialists travelled to Papua New Guinea to support installation, commissioning, and operator training, helping ensure the team could maximise the value of the technology from day one.

The press includes white toner capability, allowing businesses to produce high-value applications and special effects previously unavailable in the local market. It is also equipped with a Plockmatic booklet-making system, enabling the automated production of high quality finished booklets with minimal operator intervention.
According to the Remington Group, the investment was driven not only by the opportunity to enhance technology capability, but also by a commitment to developing local expertise and creating new opportunities for customers across Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific region.
Justin Kieseker, CEO of the Remington Group, said the investment will create new opportunities for customers while strengthening print capability across Papua New Guinea and the Pacific region.
"We jointly identified an opportunity to give BizPrint a point of difference and to offer the PNG market the value that comes with a five-colour digital press with integrated finishing, delivering exceptional quality, consistency and automation not only in Papua New Guinea, but across the Pacific region as a whole."
The installation reinforces Konica Minolta Australia's ongoing commitment to supporting customers, dealers, and channel partners throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific with technology, training, and technical expertise that helps businesses grow, innovate, and respond to changing market demands.
