LIA Victoria Tour of Holmesglen & Award Presentations

LIA Victoria has issued a warm invitation to all ‘people in print’ to enjoy a tour of the print school at Holmesglen Institute in Chadstone on Thursday 24 July, and to join in celebrating the year’s top apprentices with the presentation of the 2025 LIA Victoria Graduate of the Year Awards.

The visit will feature a tour of the print area, with the opportunity to talk to trainers and Holmesglen staff for a fascinating insight into how the industry professionals of the future are being prepared for a career in our dynamic and exciting sector.

This will be complemented by the presentation of the six finalists in the 2025 LIA Victoria Graduate of the Year, and the announcement of winners.

As usual, the event will also provide a great opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues and friends over drinks and canapes at the Chadstone campus.

“There is no more pressing issue in our sector than the recruitment and training of new print professionals, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to come and tour Holmesglen’s impressive facilities and get an insight from staff into how training has evolved in recent years, and will continue to be adjusted to suit technological and workplace change,” says LIA Victoria President, Robyn Frampton.

“This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the ‘best and brightest’ – our six finalists in the Graduate of the Year Awards for Victoria. These are truly impressive people who will without doubt become the leaders of the future, and we are looking forward to recognising their achievements and, of course, making the much-anticipated announcement of our 2025 winner.”
