Non-Stop “Live” Printing at Labelexpo 2025

To demonstrate exactly how dependable Screen’s Japanese-engineered technology really is, the Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S digital press will be printing continuously throughout all four days of Labelexpo 2025; from when the doors open until the closing bell.

Anytime a guest visits Screen’s stand D55, stand, they can expect to see this digital label press running consistently and with a variety of label applications and a variety of substrates, printing hundreds of metres of labels in real time. No ‘canned demos’ just continuous productivity digital label printing that helps label converters to be more confident in investing in narrow-web digital printing technology, or to expand existing digital label production capabilities.

Lights-out automation is a reality; streamlining everything from file preparation to the finished product With Screen’s new Truepress Digital Primer expands substrate choice for improved durability and embellishment, without additional equipment, facilitating Screen UV inkjet technology for integration into hybrid flexo/digital label printing workflows.

Expanding into Flexible Packaging

Converters are increasingly exploring flexible packaging as an opportunity to diversify their offerings. With brand owners seeking more sustainable solutions and paper packaging gaining favour for recyclability and consumer appeal, this segment is growing rapidly. Apart from labels, Screen will present the latest innovations in flexible packaging, offering digitally printed samples and expert guidance on how converters can enter this high-potential space with minimal risk and maximum efficiency.

For many label converters, moving into flexible packaging can seem daunting, but Screen is applying its long history and expertise in digital inkjet to this exciting growth market with the Truepress PAC 520P, that will be shown at Labelexpo producing finishing-ready reels for paper packaging. Additionally, flexible packaging examples from the 830mm web Truepress PAC 830F for plastic flexible packaging films, will show how water-based inks compliant with food and safety regulations and guidelines can support a transition or addition of flexible packaging production that is accessible, scalable, and profitable - from roll to printed reel.  Label printers can now consider diversification and capture new business in fast-growing, sustainable flexible packaging markets.

Screen LABEL and PAC products are sold and supported in Australia and New Zealand through Jet Technologies, whose representatives will be at Labelexpo Europe, Barcelona, as well as local Screen GP Managing Director Peter Scott.
