Roland DG UV Printer/Cutters Support One Pass Multilayer Printing
Roland DG Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, announced today that the TrueVIS LG-640/540/300 UV printer/cutters now support 'One Pass Multilayer Printing' which prints three layers of ink simultaneously. This development brings the TrueVIS LG-series into line with the One Pass Multilayer Printing functionality launched for the TrueVIS MG-640/300 UV printer/cutters earlier in 2023.
The LG-640/540/300 and MG-640/300 are high productivity UV printer/cutters ideal for customers who need to produce large-sized output in a short period of time. They support CMYK, gloss, white, red, orange and primer inks. One of their greatest features is their ability to print on a variety of materials, as well as offering unique, high-value-added special printing such as simulated embossing and textures by applying multiple layers of ink. They are widely used in the production of large advertisements, signboard production, interior decoration, and the production of stickers, labels, and decals. One Pass Multilayer Printing function enables improved printing of large, lengthy window displays with the take-up unit and continuous printing of large quantities of labels and more.
Users of the LG-640/540/300 and MG-640/300 can add this function, at no charge, by upgrading the printer firmware and VersaWorks 6 output software.
