Visual Connections Announces New Board Appointments
Following the Board Elections held at the recent Visual Connections Annual General Meeting, the supplier association has now confirmed its Board positions for the 2026/27 year.
Adrian Fleming has been elected President of Visual Connections
Adrian Fleming, General Manager – Australia & New Zealand for printIQ, who rejoined the board recently, has been elected President. Incumbent Mitch Mulligan, Managing Director of Bottcher Australia, steps back as President but will remain on the Board.
Mark Canavan, Product & Vendor Relations Manager at Graphic Art Mart, has been elected Vice President, with Luke Wooldridge, National Product Manager for HVG Graphics Media, continuing as Treasurer.
Other members of the 2026 Board include Craig Heckenberg, Managing Director of Epson Australia, Ian Martin – General Manager -Trade, Ferag Australia and Alex McClelland – Managing Director, ORAFOL Australia.
Following the meeting, Adrian said he was eager to contribute to the Association’s ongoing plans.
“I’m excited to carry on the great work of Mitch, Karren and the Board over the past few years, and would like in particular to pay tribute to Mitch’s outstanding contribution over his years as President. He has seen the Association through many challenges and both the Board and the operational team owe him a debt of gratitude for his strength, enthusiasm and sound counsel.
“Looking forward, we have some exciting plans and a fantastic team ready for the challenges that may come our way; I’m certainly looking forward to working with them, and with the industry at large, as we seek to support our diverse and dynamic sector.”
Karren Challoner-Miles, CEO of Visual Connections, says the team is looking forward to working with the Board to achieve some ambitious goals for 2026 and beyond.
“It is great to have such a talented Board, who bring not only an enormous depth of experience and expertise, but a real passion for the industry and for our Association,” she says.
“Their ideas, insights and counsel are very much appreciated as we move the Association into the future, and we are looking forward to working with them.”
Adrian and the new Board will preside over a busy year for Visual Connections, with Visual Impact 2026 and the inaugural Connect Conference 2026 running from 2-4 September at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, the 2026 Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics Awards which the team is organising on behalf of ASGA, and more exciting initiatives in planning for 2027 and beyond.
