Women in Print brings Print & Prosecco to Adelaide
Women in Print Australia is delighted to announce that its next Print & Prosecco networking evening will be held in Adelaide on Wednesday 1 October 2025, following the successful launch of the series in Brisbane last week.
The Brisbane event welcomed 20 women from across the print, signage and packaging sectors to Lina Rooftop, where guests enjoyed sweeping views of the city skyline, excellent food, and a relaxed evening of conversation and connection. The evening set the tone for a series that is already proving to be a highlight on the Women in Print calendar.
The Adelaide gathering will build on this momentum, combining informal networking with a hands-on printmaking mini-class where every guest will create and take home a postcard print.
“Print & Prosecco evenings are deliberately informal,” says Stephanie Gaddin, Chair of Women in Print Australia.
“They’re about meeting peers, casual networking, and coming together for a fun evening out, and Adelaide always turns on a warm welcome. This time, everyone leaves with a postcard they’ve printed themselves.”
The event will be hosted at Pony & Cole, with the workshop delivered by Stone & Quoin, a collaborative studio that works closely with Union St Printmakers and the broader arts community.
Guests will learn kitchen print (also known as kitchen lithography), an accessible printmaking technique that uses simple household materials to create a striking result. The evening will also be supported by Bowden Print Group as print partner and MCC Label, generously supplying the Prosecco.
Diana Nikolic, from Ball & Doggett and South Australian Patron for Women in Print, says the event reflects the spirit of the local industry.
“Adelaide’s print community is collaborative and curious. Print & Prosecco gives us a relaxed space to reconnect, welcome new faces and celebrate the craft that brings us together. I’m thrilled to support an evening where we can talk shop, swap ideas and try a tactile printmaking technique, and then take a little piece of the night home,” she says.
