Women in Print Invites You to Become ‘Financially Fierce’ at Rebranded Speaker Series in May

Women in Print says tickets for its 2026 Speaker Series, a national event set to take place throughout May, are selling fast despite the fact that the rebranded ‘Breakfast Series’ – now called the Speaker Series following the addition of a lunch event in Hobart – has not even been formally launched.

The 2026 theme is Financially Fierce. The series will be headlined by Pascale Helyar OAM, a respected figure in financial services whose career spans more than three decades, including fifteen years as a FinTech (financial technology) entrepreneur.

Women in Print chair Stephanie Gaddin said the early demand highlights the appetite for meaningful conversations around financial wellbeing, indicating strong alignment with the theme and its relevance across the industry.

“The response so far shows just how strongly this year’s theme is resonating with our community,” she said.

“It’s clear that financial stability and independence are at the forefront of many people's minds, especially given the current economic climate.”

Helyar is best known as the founder of Grow My Money, a pioneering platform that enabled users to turn everyday spending into mortgage or superannuation savings. The platform was acquired by Finder and is now called Finder Shopping. It pays cashback to members’ superannuation, mortgage, or savings accounts when they complete online shopping with participating retailers.

Helyar has since become an in-demand speaker, and a prominent advocate for improving financial outcomes, particularly for women. Known for her ability to simplify complex topics, she focuses on making superannuation and wealth-building strategies more accessible and actionable. She recently published her first book, Rich Woman, Poor Woman, which examines the systemic challenges women face in building retirement savings and outlines practical steps to address them.

Through the series, Helyar will share insights to help attendees take greater control of their financial futures.

“Pascale brings a wealth of experience and a practical approach to financial education that aligns perfectly with this year’s theme,” adds Gaddin. “We’re excited to bring her insights to our members across the country.”

The event series will travel across major Australian cities, beginning in Sydney on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 at Commbank Stadium, followed by Melbourne on Thursday, 7 May at ParkRoyal Monash in Clayton. Brisbane will host the event on Friday, 8 May at 4Pines at Landers Pocket, with Perth scheduled for Wednesday, 20 May at Royal Perth Golf Club.

Adelaide will host its session on Thursday, 21 May at The Conservatory at Ayers House, while a Hobart event is also planned for Friday, 29 May, with venue details to be confirmed.

Each event will feature opportunities for attendees to engage with the author, including the chance to win copies of Helyar’s book during the sessions, as well as additional opportunities to purchase her book.

Women in Print says these and other events and initiatives could not take place without the support of sponsors, including Durst Oceania, which returns as a 2026 Ally Sponsors alongside Media Super.

Durst Managing Director, Matt Ashman, saying the company is proud to support the initiative.

“The Durst Group has always championed women in our business across the globe, and we are very proud of our continued support of Women in Print Australia,” he said.

The Series is further supported by Cactus Imaging, who return as Series Champion Sponsors, supporting all national events. A growing list of community sponsors has been secured in several of the cities.

The series also owes its success to the hard work of the board and volunteers, who are supported by their employers, including: GetVisual Graphics, IVE Group, Signright Australia, Rocking Rose Technology, and Total Digital Solutions.

It is further supported by industry associations, media and supporter companies, including: the ASGA, Australian Labels and Packaging, FESPA Australia, FramptonPR, Girando Design, Digital Image Magazine, the LIA, PKN Packaging News, Print21, Sprinter, the VMA, Visual Connections and Wide Format Image.
